The Founder
I've spent my career in the hardest parts of building — the early days when nothing is certain, the deals that don't close cleanly, the moments when a company's trajectory depends on the next conversation going right. That's not background. That's the job I do for clients now.
Nearly five years at MassChallenge is where I built the defense innovation infrastructure that became a national model. I launched the Safety & Security Track — a dual-use accelerator co-sponsored by NSIN, BAE Systems, MITRE, Draper, and Raytheon — and co-created the Air Force Labs program with Hanscom AFB and AFRL to connect Phase I SBIR awardees directly with Air Force acquisition teams. I also stood up the Banshee Innovation Training Program, embedding DoD acquisition officers inside the startup ecosystem. 250+ founders mentored. $15M+ in non-dilutive funding unlocked. A ~90% partner renewal rate with Fortune 500 and government sponsors. I worked directly alongside Governor Baker and senior DoD leadership on innovation strategy for Massachusetts.
I then co-founded IronMill — a venture-backed deep tech company building zero-knowledge DevOps infrastructure for the verifiable internet. We raised a $2.6M pre-seed led by gumi Cryptos Capital, with LongHash Ventures and Superscrypt alongside. IronMill was accepted into the Stanford University Blockchain Accelerator. It was the culmination of everything I'd built — a decade of working with early-stage founders, navigating complex markets, and building commercial infrastructure, applied firsthand as a founder myself.
After IronMill, I joined OpenNetworks as employee #4 — a transparent healthcare platform founded by Steve Wiggins, the pioneer behind Oxford Health Plans, built to rewire how self-funded employers contract with providers. Alongside the founding team, I helped stand up the infrastructure from scratch: operations, platform buildout, fundraising, and the initial provider agreements that gave the network its first real shape.
